Cauliflower - interesting ways to serve

I’m the only one in my household who eats cauliflower and I usually only steam or microwave it so I am looking for easy ways to jazz it up a bit for meals please.

I am looking for quick and easy ideas, but not cauliflower cheese or rice. I do like it raw too but for including with hot meals I do like it hot as well.

Season like chicken wings and air fry. Delicious.

I bought a packet of pakora mix recently - lightly fry a finely chopped onion with a load of crumbled cauliflower and then stir into the pakora mix, add enough water to make it hold together and then form little patties - pop them back in the airfryer for about 6 mins.

It sounds like a faff but the most effort is chopping the onion and finding a shop that sells packets of pakora mix!

Chop into slices or break into florets, rub with olive oil lemon salt and spice of your choice- cumin, coriander are nice and roast in oven

I probably roast cauliflower about once a fortnight as it’s so delicious. I tend to cut it into florets and then mix it in a little oil and spices and then roast it. But actually it’s still delicious with just oil and salt.

This!

i both air fry, roast and bbq cauliflower and just use oil and curry powder/ chili salt and pepper/bbq rub /pirpiri and make sure it is evenly coated. If I’m bbqing it I slice it into steaks and then rub it all over. It’s delicious.

Break into florets and blanch for a couple of minutes. You still want it to be pretty firm. Dust with cumin, garlic, onion and and chilli powder. Spray with olive oil, a sprinkle of black onion seeds and sea salt. Bake until crisp. It’s absolutely delicious.

Another favourite her is blanch florets, dip in egg and then a mixture of wholemeal breadcrumbs and finely grated Parmesan (or Stilton if the kids aren’t eating!) Then bake until crisp.

Make a cheese sauce. Chuck cauliflower in bin. Serve sauce on its own.

😆

I mix yogurt with curry powder, garlic paste and cumin and mix in florets then put in the air fryer for 10 mins it goes charred and tasty.
Can also do it whole but would blanche it first

I loathe boiled cauliflower, but roasted with spices it’s amazing. What I must do is the wahaca cauliflower recipe. Similar but oh so good.

I made a chestnut and cauliflower soup which was lovely and very easy - used pre cooked chestnuts. BBC good food I think.

Roast it until properly carmelised with lemon halves and salt. I like to eat it with tahini sauce made out of light tahini and plain yoghurt, but it's equally good just plain.

Is this mix spices?? Or something else??
