Which Food Processor Would You Recommend?

I have a budget of £200 but could stretch to £250 I think. It doesn't need to have a blender but it would be nice to have one I suppose.

I grow my own veg and do a lot of chopping.

I would say Moulinex or Kenwood are the best.

Kenwood do a cheap version with loads of attachments (called Prospero), there was a long thread about them on here about 10 years ago (something like Woodpussies I think). They're not amazing quality but if you're careful they're great (not to opening the lid while the blade is still moving for example 😅). I had one which lasted 8 years (used regularly) and I immediately bought another to replace it (and I'll be more careful with it, I did dismantle the old one to see what broke and it was 100% my fault).

Thanks, I'll check them out.

My Kenwood Prospero stopped working at the weekend (after 5 years consistent use) and I ordered a replacement today - wouldn’t be without it!

Mine is a basic Kenwood food processor. I've had it for at least 5 years. It gets used constantly for pastry, mayonnaise, chopping veg, etc. I've got a separate much older Kenwood mixer. Apart from doing the jobs it's meant to it's also easy to clean, (except after grating a mountain of frozen butter for my Christmas puddings).

Pastry is something I would use it a lot for.

Oh, and breadcrumbs, of course.

I use my prospero for pastry a lot (the blender bit on top) and scones. You can get packs with different attachments.

Thanks for the feedback, Kenwood is top of my list so far, Ninja is pretty expensive but I don't know that it does anything that the cheaper ones don't.

I've got a Magimix, plus all the attachments. it's very good but hardly used. If you are interested LMK.

I got the 3 in 1 ninja, and all but the smoothie cup broke within the first year. And no replacements were available, they wanted me to box the whole thing up and send it back.
