Can I eat this chicken over two days?

This roast chicken from M&S.
There are no instructions sadly, so I have no idea if it is to be eaten immediately upon opening or if I can put the other half into a sandwich box overnight in the fridge!
I certainly do that with raw, organic chicken breast, so presume I can do the same with this?
Not sure tho as it is 'ready to eat'.

EDIT, it won't allow me to post a link. It is the deli roast chicken.

They are technically eat the same day, but I would eat it for lunch the next day.

ThePoshUns · 20/07/2025 21:18

I would happily do so

No one is more cautious than me. I would definitely refrigerate and eat the nxt day

I wouldn't hesitate. Would eat it on Tuesday as well.

You can eat it the next day but you need to keep it in a cold bit of the fridge because when they do go off, they go off spectacularly. You can tell because it smells quite nasty.

Would it have a tendency to go off quicker than raw meat?

Of course you can. I regularly eat chicken like this 3 or 4 days after opening the packet. Still alive.

ThePoshUns · 20/07/2025 21:46

Slices I’d eat for a de w days after I thought you were talking about a rotisserie chicken.
