Anyone got a spoon set that includes 1/6 tsp measure?

I hope this link works OK if not then Google it and you'll find them . Kitchen craft do double ended measuring spoons with the size you want Spoons

I like that company, I have a pan lid stuck in the basket that I need to order. Unfortunately those spoons, like many others I find, just dont have the measurements I want

In this instance I would research freezing bread dough an make full batch. I think it will work.

Unlikely to find scales that accurately weigh such a tiny amount.

I have a teeny tiny set of scales, probably the sort that drug dealers use, for measuring this sort of quantity

I wouldn't try this just because of the faff of effectively making 2 bread rolls at a time (plus waste of heating my kitchen, especially in a heatwave in the UK) but it will probably work?

No room in the freezer, and as I say I dont want to be overloaded with bread/dough as i want to make different things and have a variety

Well I like experimenting so Im doing it for fun more than anything, and the recipe is for 2 cups of flour as opposed to 3 cups of flour, so its only cutting down the loaf by a third, it will still be massive if the first one was anything to go by

Ive already gone off piste because I got some bread flour today and am doing it with that instead of the normal plain flour. Its in the bowl now, we'll see how it is tomorrow.

i wouldn't worry too much about the measurements, i make bread dough at least twice a week and never weigh or measure anything, just throw it together and it always works. You can keep the raw dough covered and in the fridge for a few days and just make a couple of bread rolls when you want bread or pizza bases if you like pizza.

Yes you're right, Im trying a few different recipes though and some are cups and some are grams, the problem with some of their recipes is that they give a range for the weight, not just one weight. A nuisance.

Its the wrong size on that one, but I did find some on Amazon which arrived the other day.

I'd just use a 1/4 tsp measure and fill it to 2/3 by eye, so just over half full. Likely to be fine.

But I've got dual platform scales for this sort of thing. Mine are the Kitchen Aid ones, but there's a few available.

I needed new scales and as a scientist I liked the idea of being able to measure down to 0.01 g. I got a cheese making kit a few years ago that I'm trying to use up and I needed 0.16 g of rennet for some of the recipes, so it's good for that and probably similar to the amount of yeast you're trying to use.
