How long before beef goes in the bin

A client bought me a pack of vacuum sealed pack of frozen beef yesterday at about 3pm I put it straight into my cool bag with ice block, the. Forgot all about it until 6am this morning when I put it in the fridge. It was cool still but not cold
ive cooked it, smelt fine, looked fine and I’ve tasted a bit-seemed totally ordinary.
but I’m reluctant to give it to the kids! (GCSE season and we don’t need food poisoning) should I just lob it? Would you?

I'd eat it if if had been in cold bag with ice packs overnight. I do the smell test. If it smells ok I eat it. If it was pork or chicken I'd not give it to kids but beef yes.

Mince or diced or solid piece of beef?

Cooked all the way through at hot temp??

If it was frozen when you got it and still cool when you got it out of the cool bag I’d say it’s fine. But would be more careful with mince or if not cooked through.

I'd happily eat it. Only if it was warm at 6am I'd worry.

Ehh it's fine

Nah that's fine, I would leave mince out all day to defrost which is a similar thing to wha you've done.
