Can I freeze fresh thyme and fresh coriander? Well any fresh herbs really. Those are just the ones I have today.

I keep buying little packets for recipes but I only use a tiny bit. By the time I want some more it's no good. Wondered if I could freeze them?

Yes - I grow, Basil, Thyme, Bay Leaves, Sage, Lavender, Coriander, Rosemay and Mint and freeze them all in little bags - easier to use cause the just crumble when you get them out of freezer so you don;t have to chop them!

Hey now you're talking! I'm liking this idea more and more. Good tip

Buy yourself some little plants in B&Q or somewhere and grow them - we got a whole lot of plants for £8.00 and have grown them fantastically well - saves you loads of cash as fresh herbs are a bloody rip off!

Yes.. we grow our own and I pick regularly.. what I don't use I freeze in small bags and crumble as twinkie says.

Yes but coriander, basil and flat leaf parsley are not so good I've found.
