Don't have mustard powder. Can I put actual wet mustard in my mayonnaise?

Making my mayonnaise from scratch, and St Delia recommends adding mustard powder. But, the cupboard is bare and the shop most likely to stock it is awaiting a delivery.

So, can I make the mayonnaise as usual and then just stir in the mustard at the end?

Yes, mustard powder is a thing from my distant childhood.

We like wholegrain mustard in our coleslaw too.

Thank you everyone! I shall do so and try to dodge the smitings from the cooking saints 😇

I add all sorts of things to mayo.
Various made mustards, horseradish, sriracha, miso, pesto.
Not all at once, but there's a thought......

Yes you can, I always use dry mustard powder when making mayonnaise but that's because I usually have it, if I was out of it I'd just use the jar stuff.
