usually go to Pan Asia, but fancy a change. Have been to the Oriental Buffet, but would prefer something in china town. Want somewhere like Pan Asia but just looking for a change. any ideas? Will be adults and children, looking at c. £8-£10 a head (not a Yang Sing occasion!)

Woo Sang? They nearly all do them in Chinatown.

just realised it's the 10k today, so won't be going in to the City after all.
I know most of the restaurants do them Tinker, was looking for pesonal recommendations really. Any ideas on good Chinese places outside of Mchr, preferably on the metro line?

Sorry to be a bit of a spoilt sport but if you're after authentic Chinese cuisine then do not go to a "Chinese" buffet. I've tried twice at the advice of dp and have always been disappointed.

We go to No1,s.

its basic ie no fancy frills and the staff sometimes scowl but its around £6 per adult and half price for kids and the food is lovely.

i think its on whitworth st.

Hi BoogieWoogie, appreciate that, but was for a large group including some fussy kids (not mine, I have to add, they'll eat anything) so buffet works well. Decided to do it another time, given how busy Mchr would have been today. Jenk1, might try No1s next time.
Thanks all.
