We’re taking an overnight ferry for our upcoming holiday. We don’t want to go to breakfast on the boat as we don’t like long journeys on a full stomach so won’t want to eat enough to make it worth it. Plus would appreciate a more chilled start to the day than rushing to the restaurant.
I need to check whether we’ll have a kettle in the cabin. If so, I’d have one of those instant porridge pots but DH not so keen on those. Both of us find shop bought cereal bars too sweet.
Currently thinking pre-buttered teacakes and fruit, which will be absolutely fine and happy with that. Will also take some small cartons of juice. But I am always interested in what others would do in the same situation as there are other times where ‘fridge-free breakfasts’ are needed, and I know what great ideas MN comes up with.
Thank you.
