What Frying Pan?

Hi!

I'm looking to buy a frying pan and for the first time in my life I can afford to not just buy the cheapest one in Tesco 😆

Any recommendations? I'd prefer to avoid non-stick so I'm leaving toward something like this but I'd love to hear what other people think 🤔

I don't eat meat, fish ir eggs so will mainly be for veggies and sauces and pancakes.

I can't cope with that sort of pan, they burn far too easily. I've just bought two Ninja ones and they're amazing, I use them to cook everything from eggs to stir fry. https://ninjakitchen.co.uk/product/ninja-zerostick-28cm-frying-pan-c30028uk-zidC30028UK

I buy the kind you posted, OP. I have three in different sizes. I never have any problem with sticking, and the one time my son in law charred a steak to charcoal in it and then took a metal scouring pad to it, I was very glad it wasn’t non-stick coated.

If you did want a non-stick pan, go for one without forever chemicals. I bought a GreenPan from JL recently and it seems pretty good.

Cast iron pans are best for cooking 😊 you don't need to be as fussy with cleaning the new ones soap is fine to use

Thank you all so much! I'm googling away in the background!

Oooo this type - I have a le creuset and 100% I've not had anything stick stick to it. It can brown and thicken sometimes depending on what you're cooking in areas but generally speaking not had any problems. I can't remember what one I have but can check the bottom of it if you're interested. I like it a lot. I also have a staub cast iron and I reach for the le creuset stainless a LOT more (both go in the dishwasher yes the cast iron because I'm a criminal) so it's not a case of one I have to hand-wash so I use it less - genuinely go for the stainless one more generally speaking.

Don’t go for Teflon but anything else is good
