And if so, have any of you found a parchment/baking paper brand that will fit in it

Im sick to death of navigating parchment paper, another box has fallen apart, wont rip properly etc etc. I want to put it in the dispenser but recall that even Lakeland dont do a baking paper roll that fits in it.

I just cut baking paper with scissors, problem solved.

Just bumping to see if there are any other Lakeland wrapmaster users?

If you google 30cm wide baking parchment a few options come up, including Wrapmasters brand.

I don’t use this brand (wrapmasters) but find home bargains baking boxes are sturdy enough.

soupyspoon · 23/03/2025 21:28

I didnt know they did a parchment, certainly not when I bought the machine could I find any

Its the Home Bargains box that Im using at the moment, its fallen apart, but then so have many others.

Why are you all using baking parchment so much?

soupyspoon · 23/03/2025 21:42

Ah, I had no idea this wrapmaster thing had different versions. I have the foil and cling film one which is the wrapmaster 1000

I have just discovered that in order to get a parchment option you need the 1500, or 3000 or the whopping 4500. Not sure what the numbers mean but I have just ordered the 1500 which comes with one roll of parchment, brilliant thanks

I use it anytime I use a baking tray. Total game changer for pretty much anything that goes in the oven.

StubbornStool · 24/03/2025 03:46

What? Like oven chips?
why?

Therealmetherealme · 24/03/2025 05:48

I use pre-cut butcher sheets on my baking trays.

You don't need to clean the tray afterwards, at least that's my reasoning!

Sandylittleknees · 24/03/2025 06:12

You need some bako-glide resusable tray liners! No more cutting!

soupyspoon · 24/03/2025 07:42

Ive got cake tin liners (well they're airfryer liners that just happen to fit nice), proper cake tin liners, plus parchment for things that go on trays.

But I also have other dishes that I use the parchment for as well.

I double fold it as well. Keeps things nice and easy.

The numbers are the width 4500 is 45cm 3000 is30cm. I work in catering so have wrapmaster

I wondered if it was the width but it didnt seem to work out because the 30cm roll can fit in the 1500 that Ive just ordered. Im not sure what the 3000 is for if the 1500 fits it. Anyway we'll see when it arrives.

I find that baking parchment makes food wetter eg roasted potatoes

Edited

I dont know that anyone would use it for something like roast potatoes, you have to baste those

I use it for baking, not for savoury foods/dinners

Sad Cheryl Cole GIF

It’s very environmentally friendly

ItsCalledAConversation · 24/03/2025 21:26

Id use it for chips but not roasties. The oil you need for roasties wouldn’t work with the paper.
