Cookbook for airfryer

Hello everyone !

I just got an airfryer (literally, it arrived today) and I'd like to get a cookbook to go with it.

Extra points if it has lots of pictures and is available on Kindle ! (I'm an expat so finding books can be a struggle - I do speak several languages so may be able to find a translation somewhere in local bookstores though).

Any suggestions ?

You could look at the reviews on Amazon.

I bought my AF before cookbooks were available, so I use ordinary recipes but adjust times & temps according to the handbook.

@Georgyporky Thanks, I'll take a look but I was hoping someone would have suggestions as there are so many books available and it takes a while to sift through all of them !

OP if there's any consolation, I've had my airfryer for quite some time now.
I tried to find a good kindle airfryer cookbook on Amazon when I was all enthusiastic with my new purchase and didn't have any luck. Maybe there are more available now. But I remember I was quite disappointed at the time because nothing appeared to be very interesting and also Kindle versions were not available for the bigger books.
I hope you find something suitable.
I think it's a question of adapting normal recipes to lower temperatures and just have a go.
I'm not a very adventurous cook so I don't actually use mine much. I need step by step instructions at my level.

Poppy O'Toole's one is good

Maxorias · 12/02/2025 11:03

Thanks !

@Branster thank you, I'll take a look anyway but try not to be too disappointed ! I am actually a fairly good cook, it's more that I was hoping to find a book with recipes that use the air fryer to the best of what it can do. If nothing like that exists I'll just adapt recipes I already know. I made chicken and potatoes yesterday, chicken came out quite well, and the potatoes were definitely better than if oven cooked. Next step is to make fresh vegetables in the somewhat vain hope my kids will eat it ! And popcorn.

@catin8oots thanks I'll look it up !

I learnt watching YouTube videos.

Lovingtheglitter · 12/02/2025 15:19

The chubby cubs one is really good and also available in kindle.

MightyGoldBear · 12/02/2025 15:27

We've enjoyed pinch of nom and we've just got bored of lunch. Neither are massively healthy but lots of tasty things and easy to swap out bits for healthier alternatives.

Ilovemyshed · 12/02/2025 15:33

Dean Edwards is good. Also Bored of Lunch.

Thecatknowsshesboss · 12/02/2025 15:36

Another recommendation for Dean Edwards and Poppy cooks rate both of these as the best we have.

Jamie Oliver website has a few if you want to try them out first - he's just had a Channel 4 series on it you might be able to get on YouTube.
