Slow cooker help - pork ribs

I got a slow cooker as a present last year and I'm loving it. I'd like to try cooking ribs in it - I usually make up a dry rub and bake them slowly, wrapped in foil, in the oven for 2 to 3 hours. I've looked up a few recipes via Google but nowhere does it say whether you cook them whole in the slow cooker as a rack or if you separate them into individual ribs? Would really appreciate any advice and marvellous recipes from slow cooker experts!

I would just chuck them in whole

Thanks. Yeah, tbh I reckon if you separate them all the meat will just fall off.

I'd put them in whole, or as whole as you can. I seem to recall when I did this with mine I had to break the racks into smaller racks to fit. One thing - if you're not using liquid, bear in mind that any on the bottom will land up coking in themelted fat and the top ones not so much. To be honest though, I think I decided it was just easier ot put them in a large tray in the oven, covered in foil.

And I don't know what you usually do in the oven, but you'll definitely need to put them in the oven or under the grill to brown up after.

Thank you @MsMarch you might be right. It's quite a large capacity one but I'd still have to break down the rack to make it fit. There's nothing wrong with them cooked in the oven but the slow cooker is still a novelty!
