Grocery Shopping.

If you were shopping for groceries online and compared to all of the companies out there, would you pay for grocery delivery if it only costs £3?

So many variables but yes.

Yes.

Well, I pay £8.99 per month for unlimited Ocado deliveries. Have done for considerably more than a decade.

And the very occasional Waitrose order, which if I remember rightly costs about £3.00 for a single delivery.

But I also order wine, coffee, wholefoods, fancy tinned fish, cheese, broth, and other things from individual suppliers (sometimes in bulk, others just a week’s worth) and they all involve a delivery charge. The only thing that doesn’t is the weekly veg box delivery (where I suppose the delivery charge is incorporated into the food prices).

Other than pre-ordering baked goods for collection, and the odd mooch around Waitrose (more for entertainment than necessity) I do all my regular food shopping online (and would feel unsettled and disorganised if I had to run out for milk, for instance) so delivery charges have become a way of life.

I guess it depends how much you think it might cost you (either in transport or time and effort) to go to the physical shop. Or whether you want the satisfaction of accessing goods not easily available a walk or short drive away. And how you like to organise your life.

£3 is less than the time and petrol to go and get it myself so yes. I get free delivery from Morrisons though so use that most.

Definitely.

If you are doing market research - this is your second rather weird, cryptic thread on this sort of thing - do it properly. Set up a survey and ask people to fill it in.

On this one - your request is weird. People pay delivery all the time already. Many get it free if they order enough or pay up to about £4. A delivery fee of £3 is not some huge differentiator. And if you want to enter this market, you should know that already.

Yes definitely! I pay £6.99 per month for anytime delivery saver with Tesco, I only book twice a month but can have more slots if I want for no extra charge It's really worth it to me as the store is over 70 miles away. Shopping local is nigh on impossible here, it's over priced, not great quality or very fresh. I tried for many years and 2 years ago I decided enough was enough, I was fed up of being ripped of for stale food.

Ahh …

I did wonder.
