Recipe says 50g cocoa powder to make 12 brownies but I have cacao powder (so confusing! 😆) and people online saying use less, but how much? Ta!

I just use like for like In recipes. If I make hot chocolate out of cacao I still need a teaspoon, just as I would for cocoa powder. I don’t find it stronger.

If the first time with a recipe it's a choice whether to use 100% or a bit less, you have to try it to see what works. You have your personal taste preferences too, so right for one person might not be right for another.

Do a taste test.

These are just different spellings for the same thing. Look at the ingredients: if only cocoa or cacao is listed, then use like for like.

Thanks so much!
