Frozen wine problem

We usually drink red, but I sometimes need white for cooking.
I decant a bottle of Pinot Grigio into small plastic bottles, freeze & defrost when needed.

I recently defrosted 2 x 100ml, but only used one, so I decided to drink the other rather than re-freeze it.

It had a thick, white sediment in the glass, I didn't like the look of it so threw it away (sob). i've never looked before, just tip it straight into what I'm cooking.

Any idea what it can be ? I've been doing this for years, but this is the first time I've tried to drink it.

Sediment - harmless but it won't redissolve so not that pleasant.
