Snack and pudding ideas for DS10

DS10 is sporty and slim. Hungry after school. Eats a good breakfast and dinner but will only eat 3 vegetables and they have to be cooked. No salad. Won't eat fruit either (apart from raisins) and nothing with banana in the ingredients as he can smell it. He will eat a peeled and thinly sliced apple about once a week. He has a lot of smoothies!

After school snack ideas? Or lunchbox ideas? Has a sandwich/crisps/yoghurt but what else can I put in?

i’m in the same position with Ds8. He eats cheese straws/ scones if that’s any help (not v healthy, sorry) and lots of bread products - bagels, crumpets, wraps and pittas. Also others on this board have recommended a food flask for lunch which apparently keeps food warm. I’ve just got one but haven’t tried much in it yet!

Does he eat baked beans? They count as one of your 5 a day!

Would he eat a soup if you blended until smooth?

Mostly DS (13) just has to forage for himself post school, but here are a few things I offer him as ideas:

Fish finger or crumbed chicken steak in a wrap (cooked in air fryer, by him).
Halloumi wrap (cooked by me. Usualyl with some salad or cooked greens).
Pre-made individual spanakopita, cooked in air fryer (I make and freeze - he air fries)
Gyoza (there's a theme here... cooked in air fryer by him Grin).
Eggs - he will scramble for himself but sometimes at my lunch time I'll boil eggs and he'll have them on toast or in a roll when he comes in.
On that note - I buy a lot of par-baked baguettes and rolls which can be cooked in 5 minutes in the air fryer.
Occassionally soup but he's not a huge fan. Although I have a sneaky feeling he might quite like tinned soup, so I should check that out.
Sometimes I'll make jacket potatoes (microwave and air fryer) and he'll have one with baked beans or cheese. I do this when I know he's especially cold and hungry.
He also eats an annoying amount of those Kind nut/chocolate bars as a "high protein" snack.
