Chopping Boards

I've got a set of chopping boards from Argos that are many years old.
I'm now down to 2 (out of 4), have been happy with them, so bought the identical set again.

The new ones have warped, so will be returned.

I need a set in a container, at least 4, plastic, & safe in a DW.
And obviously warp-proof.

Recommendations, please ?

You can sometimes get those in TK Maxx

I got rid of my plastic chopping board because they are supposed to be really bad for you because of the microplastics.

Wood is better.

Me too - I wanted to replace mine because the surfaces were so scratched and got two wooden ones. I hand wash them and oil them every few weeks, and they still look good after years. Better for knives too. But OP wanted boards that will go in the dishwasher.

My wood ones kept going mouldy. What am I doing wrong?

I immerse mine in hot soapy water (just while I’m washing them, I don’t leave them soaking) and scrub with a green scourer. Then rinse, and leave them to drain with nothing touching and plenty of airflow around them. Don’t leave plates draining next to them. Then I don’t put them away until they are bone dry, and this means drying with the air. You can’t dry them with a tea towel, you can mop up some excess water but they won’t dry. Imagine drying your hair with a towel. It won’t be dripping down your neck anymore, but it won’t be dry. You need either a hairdryer or air to dry it.

I have a small bamboo-type one from IKEA that seems to dry faster than my normal ones, if space is a premium.

Also, even when they’re dry, don’t store them in a damp cupboard. Especially not if you have two or three next to each other with no air inbetween.
