10 month old refusing pots

DD is 10 months, just got first teeth. I am totally paranoid about her choking (even though it's my second, oh dear). Anyway, she's been a great feeder up until last week when she got a bad cold. Now she refuses anything on a spoon except fruity pot or yoghurty treat . At lunch today I got enough finger food on a plate that we were both happy with, then she had pudding. But what do I send her to nursery with? I'm not great at cooking for her, am always convinced she won't like it. Can she eat sandwiches yet? AAAAAAAAgh. I hate being a paranoid mother! So, suggestions for finger food that'll make me convinced she won't choke, that she'll like, and that is nutritious please - and then you can go and save the world

at home - eggy bread, fruit crumble, rasins?
nursery - doesn't the nursery make food for them there? soft bread made into jam butties, frozen fruit puree made into 'slush' drinks, chopped up banana , sponge cake.
will go and think a bit more

Of course she can have sandwiches - if worried about salt content, you can always bake your own bread or make sandwiches with rice cakes.
Cream cheese rice cakes are a favourite of my 11 month dd, as are homemade beefburgers, chicken goujons and fishcakes (the meat is minced, so no chance of choking and you can stuff them full of veg), bread and butter, roasted veg, peas, the possibilities are endless.
If you can't be bothered to cook especially for her, you can just give her your leftovers to take to nursery for lunch (just leave out the salt when cooking for yourself).

Ha ha ha ha ha. Bake my own bread. Yes, I'll just go and start that now!
Seriously though, thanks! Feel much more positive, sounds easy peasy.

Yes, I quite fancy myself as a domestic goddess, but not even I would bother baking my own bread .. but some people do you know!!
