Air Fryer advice

After thinking air fryers were a flash in the man to be relegated to a cupboard like the sandwich toaster and George Foreman grill I've decided it's worth getting one
I live alone but spend part of my week caring for my mom.
I want one for at her house as I do the cooking (she has carers when I'm not there)

I read ages ago people suggested they would buy a 2 drawer version should they get one again, is this right?
Say I was going fish fingers and chips do I need 2 drawers or do they go in the same?

Ninja have some Black Friday deals on a 2 drawer but is it 2 big for 2 people? Do I just buy the smaller 1 drawer?

Advice please!!

We bought one with one drawer as we were unsure if it would get used much.

We liked using it so much we upgraded to a ninja 10.4l foodi flexdrawer dual air fryer AF500UK with the one big drawer which has a divider in the middle and you can use the two sides seperatly or remove the divider and use it as one large section.

I got ours from QVC when it was on offer earlier in the year.

We also use silicone liners so it does not need washing up after each use, and the liners just get put in the dishwasher.

I've had mine 8-9 years. It's a single drawer, & I'm usually cooking for 2.

If/when it dies, I'd get one like @stopringingme as it would be more useful & versatile.
I (& DH) also highly recommend silicone liners as it saves washing up.

All depends really if you are a set the timer and walk away person, or are using kitchen time to be doing other jobs so are there to open and check

I have the dual and I multi layer in that all the time ( I feed between 3 and 8 with it ) . I use one in work as well ( small deli counter ) and also layer up there , but Im in the kitchen whilst cooking so keeping an eye and moving around is not a bother

A set the timer and walk away - two drawers for sure

The smallest two-drawer Ninja is perfect for you. And yes, to use your example, you need two drawers really for fish fingers and chips. Throughly recommend silicone drawer liners which simply lift out and go in the dishwater. Get the kind that have a little metal rack inside of them.

I personally don’t like the draws I like the one with shelves, in fact I’ve just treated myself to a new bigger one.

i have this one from tower which I will give to my son. It would suit you perfectly, I’ve had it about 3 years used every day and still works fine

Thank you for the replies! There's are so many on the market now.
I will definitely get the silicone protectors to help keep it clean.

Cooking wise I'm 50/50; if I'm still working I'd throw something in the oven and leave but if I have time I like to cook properly so would check as I'm doing other things in the kitchen

Thank you ☺️
