Good Food subscription: is it just the app that is chargeable?

I kept missing out on lovely GF recipe suggestions on here and was getting fed up of googling recipes then not being able to access the GF result from my phone. I registered for their special offer (99p for 3 months), and will cancel when that is up as it is £24.99 per year after that which I'm not prepared to pay.

It looks like I can access recipes on the website without logging in which suggests that is free. When I log in, I can see the recipes I have saved on the app.

Does anyone know if I will lose that when I cancel my subscription? Not the end of the world as long as I can still access the recipes, can screen shot those that I have saved so I can search for them again. But if I then lose all access, I'd want to screen shot the recipes too.

Hope that makes sense! Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Some recipes are free via Alexa. I used to subscribe to the magazine (for years) but stopped because it didn't include digital recipes.

A lot of the recipes are still free but some are only available via the app - all of the recipes I saved were still there after I cancelled my subscription to the app, but I couldn’t access the ones which were app only. If that makes sense.

Those that are app only appear like this.

That's worth knowing @IDontLikePinaColadas thank you. Although I don't think it would justify the subscription price.

BTW I don't like Pina Coladas before a meal but will quite happily have one instead of a dessert!

@OMGitsnotgood They're just too sweet for me! I'm more of a Dry Martini kinda gal.

I used to love BBC Good Food but the ads drive me mad now.

BBC Food is better but it's the website.
