Anyone feel like helping me create a recipe?

Re-create I should say.

I saw a recipe in a magazine and liked the look of it. It was a sort of breakfast tart.

Basically, you laid out puff pastry, laid rashers of bacon on top of it and then cracked a couple of eggs on that. And then you baked it in the oven. A bit like one of those pepperoni and egg pizzas I guess. With me so far? But I lost the magazine and I think there was something else in it? But what?

Wouldn't it be a bit dry?
A layer of pesto? Sounds a bit yucky?
Spinach?
Peppers?

Any thoughts?

Oh go on. Everything else is in the freezer.

Is it this?

Oooh that looks nice!

I was going to suggest creme fraiche, but mustard would be good.

It does seem as it if might be a bit dry though?

Cheese sounds good but still a bit dry I fancy. I wish I could remember what it was.

Rarebit sauce?

Sounds like heart attack on a plate though TBH!

I used tinned tomatoes. Passata would have worked better but seiving tomatoes is not for me. It was good but possibly not significantly more delicious that bacon, egg, toast and tomatoes. Less fat though.

Have you tried Impossible Pie? There are loads of recipes like
this one and it is ridiculously easy. Not liking tinned corn much myself, I made this one with chopped sundried tomatoes instead.

The basic ingredients -
1/3 cup plain flour
1 ½ cups milk
3 eggs
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
stay the same, but you can vary the other ingredients (eg pre-cooked, drained spinach, or ham and onions, etc). It really is easy (my favourite kind of recipe)
