Can I freeze coriander chutney?

I made a coriander chutney - coriander, lemon juice, garlic, spices and a bit of water. Do you reckon it'll survive being frozen?

You can only try and find out.

Can you freeze it in an ice cube tray and then decant the frozen cubes into a tupperware or freezer bag, to make it easier to only defrost a bit at a time?

That looks like a great recipe @SummaLuvin. My worry is that it might go slimy in the freezer. I think I'll try and freeze a tiny bit, just to see as you suggest @OMGsamesame,
but I'll use the rest up in the chicken recipe. Thank you!

I do, nothing in there to spoil. I freeze coriander all the time.

Even mixed with water?

Be very light handed with the water but yes. Try it, nothing to lose. I can't often get fresh coriander so keep it in the fridge for a few days then blend and freeze it.

I just googled it and it tells you what to do,

Yes! I make a big batch to freeze in little sauce pots from takeaways. It will lose some of its greenness when it thaws but tastes perfectly good. I've been doing this for years, so has my mum.

As with anything frozen, just make sure you don't leave it languishing in the freezer for months!
