I have nowhere to put my Ninja air fryer! Help!

I have a small kitchen and thought I could replace the microwave with this air fryer. According to safety instructions - it must not be near plug sockets. Must have about 5 inches of space above it and must be away from the wall, to allow air to circulate.
I have a plug socket right next to it. The space above will be about 3 inches. It I move it away from the wall, it will be near the edge!
Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just me?

I move mine when I want to use it.

I put ours on the worktop when in use, but store it on a shelf.

Could you use it in a different place from where it would live?

The worktops are all under wall to wall kitchen cupboards which have concealed lighting underneath. The only space is by the sink, but too hazardous near water.

So you have a clear place to move it to with nothing around it?

Have you a picture op? Mine is beside a socket I didn’t know this

We have a big tray which we put in top of our stove and place it on that ( need a small extension wire). Not ideal but the only way to use ours, as we have a top lift Ninja and can’t open it under wall mounted cupboards. The main issue with this is that we can’t use the stove at the same time!

Well I pull it away from the wall to the front of the worktop, so most of the wall cupboard is cleared, then there is 6/7 inches clear either side of it.

If you haven't used the ninja, can you swap it for something not quite so bulky? I bought a duronic from Amazon which has pretty much the same cooking capacity but is smaller and fits easily on the counter top, underneath the cupboard. I slide it forward to cook, so it's not really close to the socket or wall, but it's still a little bit under to top cupboard.
It's been fine, no issues at all, since they don't get hot in the outside.
