What kind of pie and how much of it is left to re-heat?

PhDlifeNeedsaNewLife · 26/04/2008 13:58

it's new (bought from a farmer's market today), steak and ale.

oven 30min on preheated tray

bottom may be soggy but top will be crisp

Well if you heat in the oven then the pastry won't go soggy at all.

The only risk you will take is that it might burn before the filling is heated through.

Did it not come with re-heating instructions?

I would suggest that you put it in a hot oven for about 20 minutes, and take the precaution of covering the top with foil. After 20 minutes, take the foil off and then cook for another 10 minutes. Hopefully by then the inside will be properly heated through and the pastry cooked without being burnt.

Hopefully ... !
