Give me your best all in one air fryer meals

I have a 2 drawer air fryer arriving today in the hopes it will make my life easier!

does anyone have any suggestions for full meals cooked at the same time?

can you do veg in there or is it better to keep steaming?

In my 2 drawer Ninja Stack, I did salmon, roast potatoes and corn on the cob last night.

I’ve also had steak, mushrooms, onion rings and chips.

A quick snack is bacon, sausage, poached egg, hash browns and black pudding - not healthy but delicious every now and again!

The Ninja Stack comes with 2 grills as well, creating four surfaces on which to put food.

I don’t tend to do vegetables in the air fryer as it’s easier to pop in the microwave for a couple of minutes.

That’s the one I’ve bought!

so does the salmon contaminate the flavour of the potatoes?

can you put ramekins etc in there? How do you do eggs for example?

I did think about the salmon dripping onto the food below but decided to put the herby buttery potatoes ( partly cooked ) in the bottom of the drawer with the salmon on the stainless steel grill above them. I thought that as I was planning to serve the salmon lying on top of the potatoes, the flavours would mix anyway! I then had the second drawer just for the corn on the cob but I could have added some extra veg ( green beans) with them.

I use silicon muffin cases to cook eggs as I find them easier to grip with my silicon finger protectors to loft them out - not as heavy as a ramekin.

You do need to swap some things around as the front parts cooks faster than the back but I had to turn food over and shake the drawers of my Ninja Max to get even cooking. I have tongs to do that.

I bought some silicon inserts from Amazon which have a ridged bottom ( to drain any fat) and also holes in the back to match the holes in the back of the drawers. I use these if I’m being lazy and don’t want to wash the whole drawer after cooking just a couple of sausages or rashers of bacon - they go in the dishwasher!

It’s a case of experimenting a little to get used to the cooking times, I go for a shower time, check the food, turn it over or mix it around then cook a bit more. I use a prong thermometer to check if meat is cooked thoroughly. I find the Stack takes longer than the Max but as I can do double the amount, it ends up quicker overall.
