And ds friend (aged 8) said "Eugh - why don't you just buy pizza from Tesco? Theirs is nice."

Cheeky B**D!!!

I thought it was very nice - dont care what anyone else thought!!

Ha know that feeling!! But it's usually from my own kids not other people's! I went on my ds's school trip yesterday and was laughing with a fellow mum cos her ds is always saying 'Neena28 does homemade fish fingers/ nuggets and cakes etc etc why do you always buy them mum?' whereas my ds begs me to buy them so they taste like shop bought ones!! You just can't win with kids ever is my conclusion.

And for what it's worth i adore homemade pizza!.

My dc are quite good at humouring me I think. They do eat some of it!

I think the more they eat at friends they are slowly realising that my home made stuff is ok actually.

Well now i'm wondering how bad my homemade stuff is!!

Seriously though think my ds is very peer led and impressed by anything 'different' that he sees. He's going to be great fun when his mates start getting cars etc. My dd on the other hand loves anything i make pretty much so one out of two ain't bad!

LOL!

Home made pizza is my favourite meal when other children are over. They are all so faddy, that it is easier to get them to select their own toppings. Even then, they are difficult.

My kids just eat whatever they get - the joys of a large family (with a dog).

Just remembered another one...
DD1 had friend over after school and so I made some rock cakes and put in choc chunks instead of fruit as some kids can be very picky - My dc love these and scoff them warm - dd's friend looked at them with such distaste and picked one up, took a minute nibble and pulled a face!
Then she went to her school bag and got out a pack of Monster Munch and sat and ate them. My dc just stared at her in amazement.
I will not be inviting her again!

OMG I can't believe you have called an 8yo child a "B*D" on MN and nobody has even commented
