Haven’t done it for a while but when mine were little we’d just roast them with olive oil, salt, pepper and maybe paprika and eat them as a snack.

Pesto pasta with chickpeas

I really like a Mediterranean chickpea salad or chickpea shakshuka.

Falafel and houmous.

Or my new fave: drain tinned chickpeas, pat dry. Mix with teaspoon olive oil, into air fryer in a single layer, cook at 200 for 10 mins (shake halfway through). Sprinkle on salt/garlic powder/herbs/whatever, wang in for another couple of minutes. Crispy and bloody lush.

Moroccan beans. Dice an onion and fry off with garlic. Add chilli, 1tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp ground cumin (or half ground half seeds) 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 ground ginger. Then add tins chuck peas, half tin chopped tomatoes, Tom purée, frozen leaf spinach (or fresh nearer the end) and veg stock. Add salt and pepper to taste. Summer 20 mins.

Cheap and healthy. Serve with couscous.

I love them roasted too, with a bit of cumin and lots of salt, with a salad with feta and roasted sweet potato, yum

Ottolenghi also does a chickpea pasta which is a family favourite.

Came on to share the Ottolenghi confit chickpea recipe but I see I've been beaten to it! Make loads though as it's delicious and tastes better the next day

I used to have a recipe very similar to annaspanner18's, but it also contained chicken as well as the chickpeas. (I always added ready cooked chicken).
Haven't made it for ages but it was great either with couscous or mash.

I do this too. I eat them like crisps.
