Anyone ever made these? Are they nice? Suitable for 12 monthd old? Did you cook them first then freeze them? If so, did you microwave them when you wanted them again? For how long - am terrified of not reheating chicken properly and poisoning him. Are they horrible when reheated? Rubbery?

So many questions about a meatball - wot madness!!!

Yes and they are lovely DS3 (12 months) can't get enough of them. We freeze them and then take them out in the morning to thaw. Then fry slowly. Not at all rubbery. HTH

I freeze them raw. To cook, I fry them gently and thoroughly and chop them up a bit for DS3 who eats them as finger food. In fact I'm going to dig a few out of the freezer for him tomorrow. Let me know how you get on.

The chicken n apple balls make fabbo burgers, double up the recipe, perfect for grown up b b q food, squash them down into patties, and use something like this or they fall through the grill [duhr]

I generally give him the meatballs to start with, just plain and chopped up (not too small) so he can practise feeding himself. Then he'll have the AK risotto after, which he tries to feed himself, but makes a right mess. Sounds a bit poncy eh! Promise we're not!

BALD - that's a good idea, I'm always nicking his leftovers!

first time I made them they were dreadful - then I had the same recipe cooked by someone else and they were lovely. Difference being that I'd pulsed the chicken too much - they need some texture to be pleasant.
