Ideas for what to do with strawberries

We'll be going strawberry picking soon. Love a sunny morning in the fields. However, I always struggle with what to do with our haul and some got wasted last year. I'm looking for quick and easy things to make with strawberries, as well as an easy pie filling and ways to preserve for winter. I'm not a jam maker! Any ideas?

Goodness, some fabulous ideas! Loving the alcohol ones too. Right, I'm going to get some ingredients ordered, so I'm ready to jump into action

Chocolate dipped strawberries go like wildfire in this house.

Couldn't be easier- melt chocolate. Dip strawberries in chocolate (I usually leave the leaves and stalks on as a little handle) then lay on greaseproof papered baking trays. Put in fridge for chocolate to harden.

Freeze portions in storage bags.

We cut and freeze a lot. Then use all winter warmed up ontop of wagged or pancakes with Greek yogurt. Picked about 7kg recently at pick your own just for this purpose
