Good way to cook tofu?

We're trying to get more tofu in our diet as it's a good source of vegetarian iron and protein, but how do you cook it so it tastes good?? I've had nice tofu before so it must be possible, but everything we've tried just tastes squishy and bland!

This is a different way to prepare silken tofu from the Delia Smith vegetarian cookery book (doesn’t seem that likely but it’s really delicious, honestly) I think a baby might like it if most of the chilli is left out!

When my dd was this age she love tofu fingers. I just chopped and pan fried them. But unfortunately now she’s older she doesn’t like it anymore.

My fave are Dan Dan noodles with crumbled tofu or the Bosh recipe for General Tod’s noodles.

Cooking it in the air fryer avoids it getting stuck to the frying pan.

Place marking!
Tbh though I do eat scrambled tofu most mornings for breakfast - I use Cauldron tofu, for scramble it just needs mashing up a bit.
I add garlic, sometimes veggies ( tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, mushrooms, whatever I have really), sometimes not.
Mixed dried herbs, dried chives, bit of turmeric and paprika and just heat through ( if using veggies I cook these first - the tofu doesn't need much cooking I find.

I love tofu (not vegetarian). I make tofu nuggets my bread crumbing them and shallow frying.

DH likes to use smoked tofu in salads.
