Lunch?

Okay I seem to have gotten into a rut with dst (3 y-o) in what I give them for lunch. I need some easy, quick to make lunchtime foods so what do you give your ds/dds?

They like quite a lot of food but they have their favourites and I feel like because they will clear their plates if I give them those dishes then that is all I do. Help folks!

Hows about jacket wedges with varying dips/topings? takes no making as you just slice and bang in oven for 40 mins!

Eggy bread, crumpets/English muffins with various toppings, Scrambled egg with ham and cheese, Home made pizza slices, mini jackets, mini filled pitta bread, savoury muffins, savoury scones, mini homemade quiches (if you buy ready made pastry these are really quick and can be frozen)
spanish omelette, dippy eggs and toast, pasta, toasted sandwiches, crackers and cheese, cauliflower cheese with ham/bacon and tomato.

Well, sandwiches and soup are already on the popular menu (although they prefer soup for dinner, fussy little men! Still it is a good way of getting veggies in them.) Cheese sandwiches with apple slices and or grapes on the side is their absolute favourite.

I haven't bought pittas in ages (the boys used to dribble on them when younger) so I'll try them with fillings. Unfortunately they won't eat potato but I will try the wedges as they might not recognise it as being potato!

And what a list Mayhem! Good ideas in there I hadn't thought of, homemade pizza is another dinner preference but must try savoury scones, perhaps cheese or do you use something else? I only have recipes for cheesy ones.

Tuna pasta bake with crushed crisps and grated cheese on top. I always get ds to smash up the crisps and mix them with the grated cheese. That way he feels he's made lunch and eats it all. Yet he would never, never eat a tuna sandwich!!!!!
