I have a sudden urge to buy a soup maker

It needs to be very simple to use - just throw everything in, and out comes delicious soup. It also needs to be very easy to clean.
Will I get bored of it within days?
Please tell me about your love story with your soup maker. 😁

They're brilliant

How are they for making soups like broccoli and stilton? Anything that isn't just veg based?

It works fine, that would be my soup of choice but like I said upthread, by the time I've bought the ingredients I could have just bought a broccoli and stilton soup for cheaper and less hassle!

I don't buy ingredients "for soup" . I make soup with whatever is left! :)

You just put the soup in at the end and give it a quick whizz. I make this one a lot, either in cauli/cheddar or broccoli/blue type forms, depending what I have about.

Cauliflower Cheese Soup (In A Soup Maker)

Cauliflower Cheese Soup is a deliciously comforting soup. It doesn't get much better than smooth cauliflower soup with melted cheese stirred through!

Ooh yes @Thingsthatgo go for it! Morphy Richards here too - it's currently blending left over Easter Vegetable soup as I type!

Great way to use up spare vegetables lying around the fridge and, as a PP says, my ASD DD will also eat anything that comes out of it!

Super easy to use and clean and has done me well for a good few years of very regular use now. I swore by pan and blender before, liked to taste as I went along etc - but you get very used to what works and what doesn't very quickly 😊

I have a Lakeland one that I was given as a gift . Very simple although I have only made potato and leek so far as it’s my favourite.

Like I said earlier @WittiestUsernameEver We don't really have any leftovers so that's why it's not really worthwhile for us.

I love my soup maker. I keep trying to convert my friend but she doesn't get it that they are so easy. I have one that sautes and then you just press a button for smooth or chunky. It keeps the soup hot for ages.
