Something I can serve a guest midmorning with a cup of tea.

Any suggestions?

Surely shortbread contains gluten and dairy?

At times like these I usually make Tiffin, but with dairy free chocolate (Green and Blacks dark) and gf/df rich teat biscuits. Easy and makes your guest feel like they are really getting a treat.

No egg in Sainsburys Freefrom Rich Teas. Or Trufree Bourbons (their Custard Creams have milk).

If you don't mind doing some internet shopping Outback animals are GF, DF,EF, SF. Johnsons are a great company as they are actually run by someone with coeliac disease and she only stocks stuff that tastes nice. The website is well labelled too.

Awww, shucks. Thanks for the shortbread recipe, although now I am blessed by living in a town where of the 4 tea shops, 3 of them do GF cakes I've developed a bit of a shortbread habit at one of those, so must not bake anymore.

Thanks for this. She's coming next week after all, so I have some time.

I think I'll make the fruit fudge - sounds very yummy. I'm nt entirely certain of her foods, so it's probably best to avoid anything already 'made up' IYSWIM, but I know wshe's OK with dried fuirt.

And I will chech out the Sainsbury and Trufree ranges.
