Mild (ish) curry recipe

Does anyone have a decent chicken korma/ damask recipe? I only like spicy curries but DH and DD only like mild curries.
I will compromise but would like a nice recipe that keeps us all happy if that’s possible?

YES, I do! It's listed as a kids recipe (hear me out) but I make it for my whole family and honestly it tastes incredible. Super easy too.

I'm a spice lover and this pistachio and yoghurt chicken curry is an absolute favourite of mine. It is mild but very flavourful.

This chicken fig curry also has that same mild creamy profile while being very tasty (though doesn't beat the pistachio one for me personally, it might be closer to a British-Indian korma/dhansak as it has more sweetness).

Finally as a wild card (since it isn't chicken) cauliflower korma. Again, not much heat but absolutely delicious.

Make a mild curry and then stir finely chopped green chillies into your own portion.

What about butter chicken? Really mild but tasty.

This tikka masala is made out of a tin of soup but is surprisingly tasty.

Pasanda is another lovely mild one.

I like to serve with some Mr Naga chili pickle as I am a spice lover.

Oh my goodness that pistachio yoghurt chicken curry sounds AMAZING! It is totally going on my list. Even my curry/spice hating DD might go for it as she loves pistachios. Thank you!

Thanks all. I’ll give one a go this week. I’ve seen the pistachio recipe a few times and it looks amazing but I don’t have a spice grinder or food processor.

I like thai-inspired curries because I like to be able to taste all the flavours. So I might use half or less the suggested amount of a thai curry paste, along with a tin of coconut milk, with fish sauce and lime juice to taste at the end (and fresh coriander if I've got it). Not quite the orthodox method, but I usually just stirfry a range of vegetables / add my cooked meat, put the paste into the bottom of the pan briefly before adding the coconut milk and bringing it back to boil, finalise seasonings and done.

This tikka masala is made out of a tin of soup but is surprisingly tasty.

There is a legend (which I don't personally believe) that chicken tikka masala was invented when a Glaswegian-Pakistani curry chef added a tin of tomato soup to a customer's curry to calm it down.
