I had the same question, but I just bought India Express and The Roasting Tin Round the World as we mostly like to eat Asian and veggie, tho DH will cook chicken from time to time. Unfortunately, India Express seems to have way too many deep fried stuff, and also I thought it would be entirely tin pased, but there are lots of pan based recipes. Forme, some of the recipes also looked a bit... basic?

However the Roasting Tin Round the World looks very promising. Lots of SE Asian and Mediterranean recipes that look easy. I haven't yet started cooking from either, so let's wait for some others to chime in!

I have three books from The Roasting Tin series and have used The Quick Roasting tin book the most.

aargh sorry for the typos! @RampantIvy is the Quick Roasting tin really quick, and are there a lot of meat based dishes? We don't eat meat, only chicken/prawns occasionally, like once a week.

I use The Green Roasting Tin book a lot. It has a mix of vegetarian and vegan recipes. We are not a veggie household but eat very little meat. You can use the recipes as a base and add chicken/fish to many of them.

Thanks. I notice Rukmini appears to like squash and aubergines a lot?😀

And spinach and rosemary @Sususudio 😁
There are veggie and fish recipes in The Quick Roasting Tin but maybe get The Green Roasting Tin then.

We have the quick and the green. If you get these there are a lot of cross over recipes in the others. Both are good..it depends on whether you eat meat/fish or not as to which one you prioritise

We have the Quick, Green and Yellow. In the Quick one, there’s options to make some of the recipes vegetarian, e,g. The Tandoori salmon can be substituted for paneer. I use the quick one the most.

We use the Green loads (I'm veggie, he's not, but we eat veggie together all week).

There's a similar book called 'One Pot, One Pan, One Planet' by Anna Jones which is also brilliant but the book itself is quite expensive.

@Sususudio I am looking at The Quick Roasting Tin book now, and there are a lot of veggie recipes, and a lot of meat recipes that can be made veggie.

I made the Simple Roasted Pepper Orzotto the other day and it was delicious

I use the quick one the most. Handy for quick dinners on a week night. Do like the green one as well though
