Eat or bin?

I got one of those dine in meals from Marks & Spencer's, including a rotisserie chicken that you cook in the bag. I've just noticed it says use by 2/12

If I cook it now, do you think it will be alright? Or not worth the risk

Open the bag and see how it smells/ looks??? Personally it's a no from me as chicken is a food poison hazard.

If it went straight in the fridge when you brought it home, your fridge is on one of the coldest settings and it still smells fresh, it's probably ok. Use by dates always err on the safe side.

It doesn't smell rank, but it smells so I'm going to bin it
