Your favourite winter warmer recipes?

It is freezing here today so I have a big pan of lentil and bacon soup bubbling away for lunch and a spicy beef and potato curry in the slow cooker for tonight. Trying to do next week's meal plan and so far I've got as far as a cottage pie on Sunday and am planning to try out a recipe for a white chicken chilli one night. Gammon with cabbage and Cauliflower cheese may also make an appearance.

What are your favourite meals this time of year that make you feel all cozy?

Chana masala
Jamie Oliver's veg chilli made with sweet potatoes
Beef stew with loads of carrots and onions cooked in the gravy, mash, buttered cabbage

Love chana masala with home made naan breads. Look up the easy recipe for naan bread which is yoghurt and flour and maybe a couple of other ingredients. So nice.

Beef goulash

Most of my go to recipes have already been mentioned, but I'll add two suggestions - casserole or soup mix is so cheap and helps to thicken out most soup or stew recipes. You hardly need to use more than a handful, but everything feels a lot more hearty!

The DC are currently obsessed with yorkshire puddings, which I can't make. So I just buy the giant Aunt Bessies ones and fill them with chunky soup or stew instead. Kind of like a bunny chow, but less messy.
