help, pg and eaten off yogurt? Advice needed

Hi there. I'm 16 1/2 weeks pg and currently driving myself round the bend about listeria... Have just eaten a yogurt which was 5 days before its best before date. The top wasn't blown up and it smelled and tasted fine, with just a slightly lumpy texture at the top of it, but you get that in a lot of yogurts. Down the bottom though there was a bit at the bottom of the pot with no traces of yogurt on it - either some had slid away without leaving a trace or there was a pretty big air bubble in there! Also at the bottom there was a little trace of something pinkish (it was white plain/vanilla yogurt with chocolate bits in). Do you think I need to worry? Any home yogurt makers out there - can it happen that a bit slides away leaving no traces or there is an air bubble in it and it's still OK? TIA.

Berolina, excuse me for saying this, but you are a huge worrier aren't you? As long as the yoghurt was within its best before date, I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

Worrier - yes and, though not proud of it, do live with it.
Funny, there are some things I absolutely do not worry about which other people do, but there are things (my pgcy being one of them) about which I'm plain neurotic.

I think it is normal, especially for a first time mother like yourself, but you need to think that if you worry too much, that in itslef might upset the baby. As I said before (to you, I think) the baby will soon be kicking you and that will make you more relaxed (hopefully).

Berolina .. if the top wasn't blown, it smelled and tasted fine then IT WAS FINE

you can really tell if a milk product is off on the first bite ... honestly you can

don't worry
