What is this on raw chicken?? (don’t look if you get queasy easily)

I’m not sure I even want to know.. chicken thighs from local butcher, not had any issues before.

Was just cleaning and trimming the excess skin, and took this bit off. As I chopped it a little bit of white stuff started coming out. 🤢 You can just about see it. I daren’t squeeze it anymore. Have tried googling but can’t find anything.

Should I just bin the lot??

Coagulated protein carried out by the excessive water inside the chicken. (All chicken is injected with water on the production line).

The chicken thighs I buy from Aldi often have lots of these. If you squeeze them out it’s actually the base of feathers that haven’t been plucked out fully. If the chicken smells fine I’d eat it.
