I know i'm really lucky to have a child who really enjoys his food but wonder if sometimes he eats too much and this then leads to indigestion/tummy ache and restless nights. My DS is 16 months and on a typical day he might eat:
Ceareal and milk
A slice of wholemeal toast and marmite
Packet of raisins
Packet of Organix crisps
1 or 2 satsumas
chunks of apple
Chunks of cheese with hummus
Lunch of something like fish pie, vegetables with grated cheese, chicken rissoto
Jar of egg custard, fromage frais, Organix fruit bar
Tea of something like vegetable fingers and peas,
jacket potato and beans and cheese, pasta and vegetables
Chocolate buttons
Some of Dh's and my tea
He also has approx. 1 pint of milk a day and water.
He is a very restless sleeper and wakes up 2 or 3 times a night and often is very windy.
I just wondered if his appetite had anything to do with this an whether any of you had found that certain foods affected your child's sleep?
