Bakers - can I save this?

Just in the process of making chocolate brownies to take out this evening and I accidentally weighed out 85g plain flour and 85g cocoa powder instead of 40g cocoa powder.

I've sieved them together into a bowl so can't just start again.

I've redone the right quantities for the brownies so that's ok, just wondering if I can use the mixed flour and cocoa for anything else? Maybe a chocolate cake?

It seems a shame to throw it away. I'm no baker at all so not up to experimenting!

I'd make a red velvet cake and just add another 300g plain flour to your existing mix, following this recipe:

www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/red-velvet-cake

I know it says only 2Tbsp cocoa powder but you can just ignore that and have the cocoa powder be like a bit more flour.

Alternatively I think Jamie Oliver's brownie recipe is equal weights flour and cocoa, or maybe even a little more cocoa than flour.

It is still a dry mix
So the same as you would get in the supermarket.
Just stick it in a bag or container with the ratio mix written on it and use it when you want another batch of brownies.
