My 3yr old went from puree at a year old to finger food and would not eat lumpy food in between still will not eat anything with lumps like baked beans lumpy yogurts even jam with fruit in and if she does will be sick to get it back up.loves lots of frut and veg as long as its not in a sauce

Don't think she's a problem eater. Just keep giving her loads of finger foods, at thsi age they can eat anything really so try and give her what you're eating, she'll soon get used to it.
My ds, 10 months, eats everything off his highchair tray with his hands, shepherds pie, chicken curry, pasta bolognese, it's great but sooo messy. It took him nearly a month to really get the hang of it but I wanted him off the jars and pureed stuff so I kept perservering, when they're hungry they soon start to eat what's in front of them!

Have a look at the weaning section, there is some good advice on the baby led weaning (BLW)threads.

most 3 year olds don't like lumpy textures. she will probably grow out of it - don't force the issue, then it won't ever be a problem

It would help if I actually read your post properly!!! Sorry, just realised your dd is 3 yrs. But I still think you should do the same, give her the same food that you eat and eat it at the same time as her, and even if she doesn't eat just take it away and do the same at the next meal time.

I don't think she has a swallowing problem as she can eat other solid food, just that she doesn't like lumps, but she can get used to it I think, just keep on offering it to her (it may take a long time!).
