UPF - Gluten Free

As a coeliac, I need to follow a gluten free diet.
I’m definitely nowhere near the point of cutting out UPFs but do take notice of ingredients in the food I buy. Gluten free food has me wondering.

Take GF bread for example. I don’t eat it very often (price more than anything!) but I am partial to egg on toast or the odd burger in a bun. But should I be eating it at all given that I have no clue what half the ingredients are? I’d be googling all day if I were to research them, there’s that many!
Are they actually ok to be eating?
I know it’s not easy making GF bread and I’m very grateful I actually have quite a choice (Warburtons in particular 👍)

Btw, I bought some ASDA Gf brown bread the other day… after looking through the ingredients I realised the only reason it’s ‘brown’ is because of the added cocoa powder! I felt duped!
Cocoa powder!

Anyway, this is quite the late night ramble, but to those of you who follow a gluten free diet, how do you feel about UPFs?

This is the ingredients in my fave (also used mostly for egg on toast)

Nothing in there bothers me, not even the E numbers, despite their processing https://lodough.co/blogs/inspiration-and-guides/hpmc-whats-it-all-about#:~:text=What%20Is%20HPMC%3F,those%20used%20in%20Lo%2DDough.

I would be annoyed about cocoa powder, mind, as it gives me migraines.

I've been gluten intolerant for many many years and although I've had gf bread most give me tummy trouble.
I've recently read a book about UPFs and now I have to say, I'm not remotely interested in eating gf bread again unless it's homemade and doesn't contain all the crap.

Slightly off topic, but re the high price of GF bread, it might be worth checking out the Olio app for reduction of food waste.

It depends on what shops/volunteers are in your area, but GF bread often comes up when unsold by the shops, which you could pick up free on it's best before date.
