Help 🙏🏻Child’s party gluten free

Hello!
My son is having a birthday party in 2 days and a mum has just messaged to say her daughter is gluten free. The mum has offered to send her daughter with a lunch box but I’ve said I’m happy to pick up snacks that are gluten free also.
I have no idea what foods are gluten free but want to make sure the girl isn’t left out so will just have all snacks gluten free.
Does anyone have any suggestions what I could buy for party food. Sandwich fillers etc…
also what foods contain gluten that you wouldn’t necessarily think would. Just so I know what to avoid 🙈
The birthday cake is already ordered and I can’t change it so will buy extra gluten free cupcakes for her to take away.

sorry, as usual, I leave things to last minute so I don’t have long to plan food and snacks 🤪

Its very nice of you to want to make it all GF for this child but if you're not sure what to look out for I'd suggest taking up the mum on the packed snacks offer and then just get some GF biscuits/mini cakes/similar prepacked stuff from the free from section so the girl has choices of treats. Definitely don't do everyone GF sandwiches, its so expensive and its really not so good. My DD has coeliac disease, for her birthday parties I do normal sandwiches for everyone else and GF only for her.

Thankyou everyone for the replies. I did all the food GF and the girl was able to help herself to everything on offer and she’s been absolutely fine since the party yesterday. I’ve had a lovely message from her mum so thank-you all for the help and advice too.
I didn’t bother with sandwiches as so many of you advised against GF bread. However the GF chicken nuggets, pizza and freshly warmed doughnuts went down a treat! As did the Pom bears, haribos, marshmallows, fruit plater and caramel rice cakes. I’ll definitely buy the doughnuts from the Asda GF range and the caramel rice cakes from Aldi again! They were delish! 😜 The other kids didn’t notice and nobody was singled out with their own ‘special’ plate.
Even though I was very careful preparing the food, I still found myself worried about the odd stray crumb making it’s way from the kitchen to the buffet table. Well done to you parents who have to deal with this struggle every meal time! 👏🏻👏🏻 It’s been a real eye opener for me too! 💖💖
