Need to use up some self raising flour - can i use in pizza?

Bought SR flour to make a cake a while back and could do with using it up, preferably not for cake.
I have home made pizza in the meal plan this week. Although i've made pizza many times, have never used SR. Will my pizza base be ok if add yeast to SR flour?
Thanks

I use SR flour in drop scones (thick pancakes) with various fillings.

You won't need the yeast. It'll be like a sodabread base rather than a yeasted base - it'll be fine.

I wondered about that but i don't think a sofa bread type base will go down to well. Maybe i will use for drop scones instead - thanks for the suggestion. Just thought it would be good to use it up for something I was planning on making anyway

Equal quantities of s/r flour and Greek or just plain yoghurt mixed into a dough makes a decent pizza base. I usually add a bit of salt as well.

You could make scones (BBC food recipe is awesome) or American style pancakes for breakfast?

Pancakes (for 2 people)
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder

Thank you, sounds like a safer bet than pizza!
