Meals without bread or dairy.....

I am seriously considering cutting bread and dairy out of my diet for a month to see if my IBS and spotty skin clear up. They have both been terrible recently and I seem to really bloat up if I eat bread. I already know milk is bad for my IBS but have been too lazy to cut it out! Silly really when I can just buy soya milk!

I can live without dairy, but bread is a huge part of my eating habits so I will need easy lunches I can have that don't involve bread!
Any ideas appreciated!

Has anyone else done anything similar and seen good results btw?

GI diets may have some good suggestions too? My mum is wheat free and only has that 'lactofree' milk cos of IBS, and was happily following a low GI diet plan to loose some weight... Don't think you could do it and be veggie as well though, not without a lot of trouble (speaking as a veggie)

I have been wheat and dairy free for years. Tesco 'free from' range bread as well as the soya milk is the best. Wheat and dairy is hidden in soo many foods inc. value porridge oats, brought 3 bags before i realised, severe pain by the end. Alpro soya cream is really nice to as a treat. Nairn oat cakes are lovely, dc's keep eating them plain.
Cutting out diry one month and then wheat teh next is what i ws told to do.

I buy goat's milk in bulk and freeze it so I've always got some in. Most supermarkets stock goat things. If you are lucky enough to be near a Booths supermarket they are very good and stock sheep milk and cheese too.

Hope the D+B works.
