Looking to replace bought cereal bars, biscuits , chocolate etc with homemade and bake more but not sure where to start ... I'm a decent cook but don't do a lot of sweet things. What are your go-to, fairly easy sweet recipes? Ideally things that would last to be eaten over a few days.

I make a batch of flapjacks most weeks. I use this recipe but usually half the sugar and it's still sweet. I mix whatever I have in, dried apricots, sultanas, cherries, mango.

When it's set I drizzle melted chocolate on it and cut into small squares. Great for packed lunches or an after school snack

Most other flapjack recipes I've tried are too hard and dry, this one is perfect

These. Absolute piece of cake to make and totally delicious. If you use cheap peanut butter (lie not 100% nuts) I'd lower the sugar and forget the nuts, can also stir some oats in or anything else you like. Pretty much foolproof

Forget the salt I meant!
