My oven died

I need a new cooker

I don't have a lot to spend (alight lets be honest I have nothing to spend I will have to borrow to buy it)

I need a free-standing cooker with a fan assisted oven, a grill which is also an oven & a lpg hob (the grill can be either lpg or electric)

Tricky huh?

Preferably white (metal/grey at a push)

I don't even know where to look for a lpg cooker

TIA for any suggestions

have you tried Freecycle or Ebay?

any help?

there might be a shop near you that sells reconditioned cookers, I'd look there, check your classifieds. There are tons of manufacturers. You can check anything out at comet or boots. Also if you can I would go for the most energy efficient, grade a or b if you can. Will save you money in the long run.

Oh yes

I obviously need a Cannon Lichfield.......not very pretty but it's OK

Hi KAtymac - I've just looked at your profile - is that your dream house/plans for your home? I only ask because I'v got a kitchen like that, not quite so circular but it is curved to a semicircle. Some of the ones I looked at were like the starship enterprise (I would LOVE a kitchen like that)

KatyMac · 22/02/2008 16:49

No

That was a very preliminary idea for the nursery I am trying to build/open

Shame - I love looking at houseplans! That's the best bit about estate agents - ths floorplans! I like to look and plan where I would make adjustments.

Oh I agree

I walked in to my house & said - well that wall is coming out

DH called it 'doing a Kirsty'

Katymac before we bought this house I lied awake at nights sorting out which walls were coming down/where the extension was going. It was actually quite a shock to move in and find a wall in place, where I'm knocked it down in my head!

KatyMac · 22/02/2008 22:32

I took out a chimney (2xbreat plus up through the roof), & 2xdividing wall, built a new wall replaced the windows & gutters

I do love it

I added a conservatory, then decided it was to small so took the end off and added an extra 24ft

Now I want 2 rooms & a shower room in the attic - I'm just £25K too short [win]

I love floor plans - do you buy the selfbuild mags just to look at them?

I do buy self-build mags - I have a ream of biulding my own house one day, pref not in engladn, somewhere nice and safe and friendly. Anyway...You added 24ft! Theat is one big space, must be lovely. Our next proj is the patio, get that ready for summer (bbqs, parties, sunbathing - some sun would be nice!)

KatyMac · 23/02/2008 16:53

I use the conservatory to childmind 9 under 5's it needs to be a big space
