Are there any sugar-free Cheerios-lookey-likey cereals out there?

DD1 has encountered Cheerios at her cousin's house - I'm not a big fan of sugar in breakfast cereals - she's only 4 so relatively easily pleased if I can come up with something similar - is there anything out there?

try health food shop - they might have something similar but not sugar coated - probably expensive though ! It does irritate me that Cheerios are advertised as being healthy etc, which they are in some ways, but the fact that they are glazed with sugar is glossed over...grr

Asda's own brand are not sugar coated AFAIK.
I discovered when I bought them as a cheaper version and didn't get the sugar rush!
(I know but I love sugar coated cereals. Frosties and Ricicles are foodstuff of the Gods!)

My kids used to eat porridge every school day without any fuss and then hubby brought home Cheerios and now they have gone right off their porridge!

Will have a look in a healthfood shop. I agree MAS, the Cheerios advertising is VERY misleading

I can't remember when (or how or why)Cheerios slithered insidiously into our house, but the Absolute Rule chez Anchovy is that if you want to have Cheerios you have to have them mixed half and half with dull-as-dichwater-but-very-worthy Shreddies. It seems to work.

God I miss Ricicles. They are the type of food that you can only eat until you are 10 without ballooning to the size of a beach hut.

Ricicles are tricicles as nicicles...that was the ad when I was a girl...
and yes, if we have Cheerios they get mixed with something worthy...
